Charming Sunset Lake House with Private Dock

home was clean and AC worked perfectly. it’s a nice location for a weekend getaway. the pictures online seem to be a bit outdated and the furniture inside is a bit small for adults. Besides that, great spot!

Home was not cared for or prepared prior to our stay. Broken toilet seats, closet doors, light switches and chair. Had to wash all linen and towels when we arrived(mildew smells). Back patio covered in bird poop and leaves. Enjoyed ourselves after we cleaned everything that first day.

We stayed with our family, including adult children. Others in our group rented their own nearby VRBO's. Place was very clean and remodelled. Comfortable beds and nice linens provided. Mostly adequate kitchen supplies but only 2 wine glasses and no wine opener. Some condiments available. No dog policy was different than other houses rented, but understood due to owners allergy. Outdoor area was subpar. Provided a nice paddle boat and one kayak. Water was too much algae for swimming. We fished but no bites. Backyard needed improvements, deck is uneven, lakeshore weeds should be removed to improve view. The area and lake is very nice. Nice large dock. This house has 4 bedrooms, which was our requirement. However, all three of the other houses our party rented were in better shape with nicer lakefront settings although only 3 bedrooms.

The property is great, I had been here before but it was too hot this time, we got there in a heat wave!
